It’s “The Happiest Place on Earth” — and on sea. Going on a Disney cruise is supposed to be like stepping into a world of enchantment, where dreams come true and magic is around every corner. Our family recently had the pleasure of experiencing the new Disney Wish cruise ship on a five-day, four-night journey to the Bahamas. The memories we made with our family were magical, but our weather wasn’t what we would have wished. Join us as we recount the moments, the exceptional service, and the sheer joy that filled our hearts on this enchanting adventure.

Day 1: Boarding the Disney Wish

Our journey began at Port Canaveral, Florida, where the magnificent Disney Wish awaited us. The excitement was palpable as we stepped on board and were greeted by the friendly crew. The ship was filled with iconic Disney characters and elegant decor, setting the tone for an extraordinary vacation. First, we grabbed a bite to eat at a barbecue before hitting the pool while we waited for a new home away from home: our luxuriously appointed stateroom. That night, we enjoyed a four-course meal and a musical performance of (Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, Enchanted) in one of the two theaters on deck.
